The plug-in wall sconces are hand-painted with a unique stained slate finish on the back-plate, arm, and shade, with the socket finished in a brushed antique brass color, creating an antique and industrial look. These wall lights for the bedroom can be hardwired or plug-in (both installations need to be mounted to the wall) to adapt to different installation conditions.
The wall sconces set of two are overall 6.9" high and 8.7" wide, with 4.7" wide round back-plates and 5.5" arms. They are ETL listed for dry locations and designed for the North American 120-volt standard voltage, coming with a 70.87-inch plug-in cord.
Each plug-in wall sconce requires 1 x E26 bulb, which can fit most standard bulb shapes and is fully dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch. The wall sconces are designed with a unique finished dome shade featuring a matte gold interior to complement the antique aesthetic and reflect the lighting.
There is an on/off switch built into the farmhouse wall sconce's back-plate, allowing you to easily turn the lights on and off by twisting it clockwise. The 240-degree adjustable knob on the arm allows you to maximize the lighting potential by adjusting the light angle, and the wall sconces can also be mounted as mini ceiling lights.
The plug-in wall sconce is versatile, suitable for use in the bedroom, kitchen, foyer, living room, mudroom, powder room, home library, and more. Please note that the bulb is not included with the purchase.
For installation, please refer to the "user guide" in the "Technical Specification" section on the listing page: 1. Connect the shorter black wire from the switch to the black wire from the light fixture (center hole). 2. Pull in the plug-in cord and secure it in the canopy with an electrician's knot. 3. Connect the black wire from the plug-in cord to the longer black wire from the switch. 4. Connect the white wire from the light fixture (center hole) to the white wire from the plug-in cord. 5. Connect the copper wire (ground wire) to the mounting bracket.
If you have any issues turning the light off with the switch, please try turning it off clockwise, as this switch only works clockwise.
